Hervé Berland, CEO of Château Montrose, property of the Bouygues family, will provide us with a detailed explanation about the sustainability policies implemented at the property starting 10 years back. Policies aim to become fully energy self-sufficient and integrate an organic and sustainable approach at all levels, without losing the qualities and character of the recognized terroir of Château Montrose.
Angelo Gaja, a world-renowned and respected Piedmontese name, who is now gradually handing over the reigns of the growing family business to his children, will share his vision of expected climate changes. With his recent investment in a vineyard on Etna and with his property in the DOCG of Bolgheri, he will share his view and experiences from all 3 regions.
Roman is the owner of one of Germany’s most revered domaines, the Weingut Van Volxem in Wiltingen. Passionate about the region’s glorious winegrowing past, when wines from the Moselle were amongst the most expensive in the world, he will explain us how he is currently adapting to world markets without losing the age-old identity of his region and Riesling as variety.
To what extent will the impact of the new approaches to viticulture and methods of vinification affect the taste and style of wines?
NYETIMBER : This pioneering producer of great sparkling wines in Great Britain, will present the estate and wines through a tasting with the GM.
